What is Intellectual Property?
It is the expressed creations of the mind. e.g. Books, art, logos, shapes, images and inventions.It is divided into two categories:
- Industrial Property, which includes inventions (patents), trademarks, industrial designs, geographical indications, plant varieties, lay-out designs of integrated circuits.
- Copyright, which includes computer software; literary and artistic works such as books, poems and plays, choreographic works, films, musical works, artistic works such as works of mas, drawings, paintings, photographs and sculptures, and architectural designs.
